William ‘Bill’ Everett Parminter, age 67, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away March 17, 2024 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Hospital in Osceola.
A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Bill was born April 7, 1956 in Stromsburg to Everett Townley and Betty Lou (Blakeley) Parminter. He attended school in Stromsburg, graduating from Stromsburg High School in 1974. He then attended and graduated from Iowa Western College where he played baseball. He began working for Consolidated Freightways in Lincoln conducting truck inspections. He then worked as a security guard for Square D and then the Nebraska Historical Society. In 2020 he moved back to Stromsburg where he resided until his passing.
Survivors include siblings: Linda Rezabek of Wilber, Nancy Van Fossen of North Platte, Tom (Barbara) Parminter of Key West, FL, and Kathy Parminter of Stromsburg; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Betty Lou Parminter; brother Robert ‘Bob’ Parminter; and brother-in-law David Rezabek.
