William 'Bill' Alan Bryan, age 84, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away August 28, 2020 at the Osceola Good Samaritan Society in Osceola.
Memorial services will be held Monday, August 31, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola with Pastor Dan Cloeter. Organist will be Louise Wheeler. Musical selections will be "Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone", and "Find Us Faithful." Inurnment will be in the Osceola Cemetery.
Bill was born September 18, 1935 to Guildford D. and LaVerne L. (Hutton) Bryan at Stromsburg. He attended Dist. 7 grade school, graduating from Osceola High School with the class of 1953. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan University and later joined the National Guard. He returned to the farm in 1956.
He was united in marriage to Janice Kreis in 1959. To that union three children were born.
Bill farmed in the valley north of Osceola until 1991 when he started with CO-DE Auto Sales in Stromsburg.
He was a member of Fairview Methodist Church and later became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola. He was a member of Osceola Masonic Lodge.
In February of 1982 he was united in marriage to Lora Lee Dawes Peterson.
Survivors include his wife Lora Lee of Osceola; children Pamela (Dale) Arvidson of Leadville, CO, Steve (Mindy) Bryan of Osceola, Jeff Bryan of Honolulu, HI; step-children: Lesa (Bryan) Euse of Osceola, Jody (Calvin) Marak of Stromsburg; grandchildren: Jacob and Anna Arvidson, Brennan and Blaike Bryan, Zachary and Rachael Bryan; step-grandchildren: Max (Valerie Poe) Marak, Camille (Brian) Steffensmeier, Carson (Jamie) Euse, Madison Euse; step-great grandchildren: Malakai, Zailey, Dax, Tucker and Colt; brothers: Gerald (Judith) Bryan of Osceola, Curtis (Sandra) Bryan of Enemclaw, WA; sister-in-law Nancy Bryan of CT; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Guildford and LaVern Bryan and one brother Robert.
