Wanda Rozene Spencer, age 42, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away October 8, 2022 at her home in Stromsburg.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Midwest Covenant Home Chapel in Stromsburg.

Wanda was born December 14, 1979 to John and Bessie Mae (Sisty) McCord in York, Nebraska. She attended school in Stromsburg. She worked at the Midwest Covenant Home as a cook and a cashier at Casey’s in Stromsburg. She was engaged to Michael Ray Johnson of Stromsburg.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with family and friends and fishing with her fiance.

Survivors include fiance Michael Johnson of Stromsburg; her children Sidney (Tanner Grubbs) Spencer of Osceola, Mike (Morgan Husak) Johnson of Genoa and Dylan (Marisa Nichole) Johnson of Shelby; grandchildren: Rozamay Spencer, Ryder Grubbs, Eme, Tiffa, Harli, Lily, Cas and Drake Johnson;  brothers Mark (Cheri) Collingham of York and John (Julie) McCord of Akron, CO; sisters Crystal Cruse McCord of Sterling, CO and Susie (Gary Luther) Crooker of Ainsworth; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Bessie McCord.
