Victoria ‘Vicki’ Jean Fricke, age 67, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away May 12, 2025 at her home in Omaha.

Memorial services will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Osceola with Father Allan Phan officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 18 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a 5:00 p.m. Rosary at the church. Organist and vocalist will be Judy Vrbka. Musical selections will be “Here I Am Lord”, “The Lord Is My Light”, “On Eagle’s Wings” and “Sissy’s Song.” Inurnment will be in the Osceola Cemetery.

Vicki was born October 11, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska to Charles Gregory and Wilomine Angela (Hofbauer) Kucera. She attended school in Osceola graduating from Osceola High School in 1976. She then attended Platte Community College in Columbus where she received her LPN degree. She began her career working at the Eastern Nebraska Vets Home in Bellevue and retired after 30 years there.

On September 8, 1984 she was united in marriage to Fred Fricke at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Osceola. To this union one daughter was born.

Survivors include her daughter Lynn (Brandon) Mogensen; granddaughters Carlee and Zoe, of Omaha; sisters: Judy (Lynn) Vrbka of Wilber; Nancy (Bob) Zelasney of Osceola, Ann (Dan) Coufal of Ashland; brother Dan (Danielle) Kucera of Utica; close family friends Justin and Tarah Staack, Savannah and Julius; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Wilomine Kucera; and family friend Mary Staack.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated later.
