Russell Clark Frahm

Russell Clark Frahm, age 75, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away July 1, 2023 at his home in Osceola.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Christian Church, 604 Wayne St. in Liberty, Nebraska with Pastor Robert Wathor officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Dubas Funeral Home in Osceola and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Musical selection will be “The Old Rugged Cross.” Pallbearers will be Larry Minzel, Ken Minzel, Arlan Minzel, Shawn Frahm, Trey Frahm, Martin Baldwin, Ivan Baldwin, Jarrod Geiser and Travis Boden. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery. Military Rites by Liberty Legion Post.

Russell was born July 17, 1947 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Ruthger Carl and Nina Belle (Finch) Frahm. He attended country school near Lewiston. He then served in the United States Navy for two years aboard the USS Glennon. Following his discharge from the service he worked in construction and carpentry in Kansas , Nebraska and Colorado before returning to Nebraska to spend the last 20 years of his working career with his son in his construction business.

In 1976 he was united in marriage to Donna Kathryn Pfeifer in Kansas. They returned to Nebraska where they raised their children in Osceola.

He enjoyed woodworking and milling lumber, sports, especially baseball and his greatest joy was attending his kids and grandkids activities and daily coffee with his friends.

Survivors include his son Russell (Amy) Frahm of Ashland; daughter Heidi Frahm Johnson of Grand Island; step-son Gary Kelly of Omaha; step-daughters Jackie Cliffords of York and Janel Zelasney of Lincoln; five grandchildren: Trey Frahm, Cecelia Frahm, Alexa (Bryce) Kitrell, Martin Baldwin and Ivan Baldwin; sister Elsie Minzel of Emerald; brother Reed Frahm of Summerfield, KS; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Dorothy Frahm Gohde, Edwin Frahm, Walter Frahm, Henry Frahm, Alan Frahm, Martha Brodie, Viola Murray and Albert Frahm; step-son Greg Kelly.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated later.
