Russell Wallace Anderson

Russell Wallace Anderson, age 90, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away December 21, 2021 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center in Osceola.
Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Stromsburg for Wally and his wife Judy who passed away December 23, 2021, with Pastor Keet Redden and Aaron Phillips officiating. Inurnment will be in the Stromsburg Cemetery.
Russell ‘Wally’ was born May 5, 1931 to Russell Wilbur and Signe Brigitta (Larsson) Anderson in Stromsburg. He attended school in Stromsburg, graduating from Stromsburg High School. He then attended Bethel College in St. Paul, MN.
On September 11, 1952 he was united in marriage to Lois Virginia Mitchell in Aurora, Illinois.
Wally lived in various places including Greeley and Colorado Springs, COC, Austin, TX and Osceola, Culbertson and Stromsburg, Nebraska. He received his Masters and Doctorate (Ed.D), from CSC in Greeley, CO.  He was an educator, psychologist and business owner. Wally worked throughout his life and never really retired.
On September 2, 1977 he was united in marriage to Judy (Walker) Strole.
Wally enjoyed his hobbies of aviation, woodworking and connecting with children of all ages using magic tricks. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include daughter, Karen (David Miller) Anderson of Firestone, CO; son Elliot Todd Strole of Stromsburg; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; sister Carolyn (Larry) Keller of Adams; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lois; his parents Russell and Signe Anderson; son Brigham Strole; daughter Sharrah Strole and baby granddaughter Anna Zimmerman.
