Richard Alan Corn, age 84, of Gresham, Nebraska, passed away July 17, 2025 at Good Samaritan Society in Osceola.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Richard was born May 27, 1941 in Philipsburg, PA to Jesse V. and Ruth R. (Rhodes) Corn. He attended school and graduated high school in Pennsylvania. He then attended two years of college. On May 20, 1959 he enlisted in the US Navy where he served in the Fighter Squadron. He was discharged on June 26, 1961. Richard was employed at a ship yard in Alabama as foreman painting ships.

On August 23,1985 he was united in marriage to Linda L. Wellman in Poplarville, MS. In 1993 they moved to Nebraska where Richard worked at Tyson Foods in York as head of transportation.

Survivors include his wife Linda of Gresham; daughter Danielle D. Corn; step-children: Richard Keeton and Venito Keeton; three grandchildren: Cashlyn Sanders, Adrianna Sanders and Abel Sanders; brothers: Thomas Corn of Florida and Jerome Corn of Georgia and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Ruth Corn; sister-in-law Pamela Corn and nephew Matthew Corn.
