Renee Annette Rutter
Renee Annette Rutter, age 69, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away September 29, 2018, at her home in Osceola.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Stromsburg with Pastor Keet Redden officiating. No visitation. Pianist will be Roni Branting. Soloist will be Heather Coffin. Musical selections will be "In Christ Alone", and "How Deep The Father's Love For Us". Congregational hymn will be "Jesus Paid It All." Inurnment will be in the Osceola Cemetery.
Renee was born January 8, 1949 at Wayne, Nebraska to Tilton C. and Elda M. ( Van Slembrouck) Weber. She attended school in Lyons, graduating from Lyons High School in 1967. She attended one semester at Wayne State. She worked in Lincoln for two years after high school.
She was united in marriage to David (Rick) P. Rutter on August 29, 1970 in Lynch, Nebraska. To this union four children were born. The family lived in rural Silver Creek for 1 1/2 years, rural Stromsburg for 6 years, before moving to a farm home near Osceola, where she resided until her passing.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Rick of Osceola; children: Eric (Amanda) Rutter of Osceola, Chad (Melissa) Rutter of Minneapolis, MN, Kelly Rutter of Lincoln and Tami (Gordie) Coffin of Lincoln; siblings Norm (Dorothy) Weber of Wisner, Rod (Mary) Weber of Norfolk, Cindy (Rod) Rudebusch of West DesMoines, IA and Scott Weber of Lincoln; seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tilton and Elda Weber.
Memorials are suggested to York and Columbus Living Water Rescue Mission.
