Raymond R. Urban

Raymond R. Urban, age 63, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away May 12, 2020 at his home in Osceola.
Graveside memorial service will be held Friday, May 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Osceola Cemetery with Father Thomas Au officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Prochaska, Tim Althouse, Kenny Lloyd, Chad Belt, Dan Wieseman, Craig Brouillette. Due to current COVID-19 health mandates practice social distancing by maintaining at least 6 feet among attendees, family, staff, and clergy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be designated later.
Ray was born November 26, 1956 to Francis R. and Lola R. (Hardle) Urban in Osceola, Nebraska. He attended Osceola schools, graduating in 1975. Over the years he worked for Conkling Farms, Johnson Services, Grosch Irrigation, farmed with his dad in the Osceola area, and Jim Tonniges Ranch in O'Neill. In 1982 he began Urban Enterprises where he was an inventor, did repairs, manufacturing, and fixed alot of stuff for farmers.
Survivors include his mother Lola of Osceola; four brothers, Gregg (Cindy) Urban of Fairbury, Dick, Kent and Randy, all of Osceola; two sisters, Janet (Larry) Neujahr and Connie (Ron) Boruch all of Osceola; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Francis Urban and brother Jerome.
