Nona (Thomas) Ostberg Stufft, age 89, of Nebraska and Colorado, passed away December 1, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society of Osceola, Nebraska.
A private family service will be held at a later date.

Nona was born November 4, 1931 near Clarks, Nebraska to Glenn and Ruth (Philbrook) Thomas. She graduated from Clarks High school in 1949. She then attended college in Omaha studying business.
On September 10, 1950 she was united in marriage to Dean Charles Ostberg in Polk, Nebraska. They farmed and raised children north of Polk for over 20 years. Dean passed away in the fall of 1971.
Nona married James Stufft in December of 1975 and they lived in Loveland, Colorado. There Nona worked at the original First National Bank for over 16 years and volunteered for the Loveland Visitors Center after she retired. Jim passed away in the summer of 2010. She returned to Polk County in 2017.
Nona was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years. She belonged to the Methodist Church.
She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her four children and their families: Patricia Carlson of Silver Creek, Nebraska, Pamela (Curtis) Vulgamott of Loveland, Colorado, Phyllis (Dan) Albracht of Loveland, Colorado, and Edward (Tina) Ostberg of Polk, Nebraska; three stepchildren and their families: Pat Carlson and Deb Reeves both of Central City, Nebraska, and Sally Scheck of Loveland, Colorado and one sister Jill Stromberg of Grand Island, Nebraska. She had 16 grandchildren and over 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and one brother.
Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
