Mary Elizabeth Hunt, age 70, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away February 14, 2025 at her home in Osceola.

A Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life until 4:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church in Seward, with Pastor Paul Bauman officiating.

Mary was born April 12, 1954 in Lander, Wyoming to Dainel Chester and Virginia Margaret (Knopp) Higinbotham.

On June 2, 1980 she was united in marriage to David Hayes Hunt in Riverton, Wyoming.

Mary enjoyed reading true crime books and collecting china dolls.

Survivors include her husband David of Osceola; son Karl Meyer of Lincoln; daughters: Spring Rydel of Lake Havasu, AZ, Trista Kerl of Wilbur and Heather Rerucha of Utica; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Regina Joy Meyer; Gavyn Scott Rerucha and Dustin Haze Shook; and sisters Veda Sutphin and Judy Lona.
