Lorraine Frances Wieseman, age 91, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away October 27, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Society in Osceola.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Osceola with Pastor Soonil Park officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 29 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the church. Organist will be Kristi Schleif. Musical selections will be “Precious Lord, Take My Hand”, “Amazing Grace” and “In The Garden.” Pallbearers will be Austin Wieseman, Anthony Mestl, Cody Tschantre, Dick Wyman, Randy Neujahr and Kenny Lloyd. Interment will be in the Osceola Cemetery.

Lorraine was born March 25, 1934 in Valparaiso, Nebraska to Harry and Rosie (Ahl) Christensen. She attended school in Valparaiso, graduating from Valparaiso High School. She then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she received her teaching degree. From 1951 to 1959 she taught kindergarten and 5th grade in Osceola.

On December 5, 1958 she was united in marriage to Rex Lee Wieseman in York, Nebraska. To this union three sons were born. The family lived in the Osceola and Silver Creek area throughout the years where Rex farmed and fed cattle. On January 24, 2023 she moved to the Good Samaritan Society in Osceola where she resided until her passing.

Lorraine was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Osceola. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and golfing, where she was a charter member of Ryan Hill Country Club.

Survivors include sons, Gregg Wieseman of Osceola, Keith (Diane Wall) Wieseman of Silver Creek and Scott (Fran) Wieseman of Osceola; two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; many great grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rex Wieseman, who passed away December 25, 2023; her parents Harry and Rosie Christensen; sister Delores (Bob) Schmohr; daughter-in-law  Betty Wieseman.
