Jolene Ann Beckman, age 66, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away June 27, 2022 at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.
Memorial services will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Methodist Church in Stromsburg with Pastor Neil Kloppenborg officiating. There is no visitation. Musical selections will be “The Rose” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Inurnment will be in the Stromsburg Cemetery.
Jolene was born April 14, 1956 to Clayton David and Dorothy Jeanette (Hellstrom) Hallquist in Stromsburg. She attended school in Stromsburg graduating in 1974. Jolene was united in marriage. To this union three daughters were born.
Jolene held various jobs through the years including homemaker, daycare provider, partnered in a cleaning business, worked for accountants Romans Wiemers and Schultz in York, was Deputy City Clerk in the City of Stromsburg office and as a teller for Heritage Bank and Cornerstone Bank. Jolene retired July 7, 2021.
On December 24, 2007 she was united in marriage to Timothy Charles Beckman in Stromsburg at the Methodist Church.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking and gardening.
Survivors include her husband Tim of Stromsburg; daughters Staci Michel of Stromsburg, Melinda Rosenquist of Omaha and Amanda (Dylan) Burcham of Omaha; step-children Scott (Julie) Beckman of Brooklyn Park, MN and Chad (Shauna) Beckman of Lincoln; grandchildren Dawson, Graycen and Rylee Michel, Daniel, Andrew and Emily Beckman, and Livi Beckman; two sisters Linda (Leland) Petersen of Stromsburg and Soni (Monty) Fredrickson of Lincoln; brother Ken (Rhonda) Hallquist of Lincoln; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
Dubas Funeral Home of Stromsburg and Osceola has been entrusted with arrangements.
