John Edwin Jarmin, age 65, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away March 30, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.
Memorial services will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Osceola with Pastor Murry Johnston officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the church. Inurnment will be in the Osceola Cemetery.
John was born June 8, 1959 in Osceola, Nebraska, to Harold Clyde and Marie Ann (Urban) Jarmin. He attended school in Osceola, graduating from Osceola High School in 1977. John was employed with the City of Osceola as Maintenance Engineer.
On February 14, 1997 he was united in marriage to Darla Jean Woodard in Osceola.
John was a member of the Antique Motorcycle Club (AMC). He enjoyed motorcycles (Harley’s), automobiles, guns, Osceola water, animals, Husker volleyball and comic books.
Survivors include his wife Darla of Osceola; children: Augie (Ada) Noyd of Shelby, Zeb (Jessica) Noyd of Hastings and Sarah Noyd of Omaha; grandchildren: Emmie Noyd, Eli Noyd, Alrik Noyd, Fletcher Noyd, Leah Noyd, Carley (Ryan) Campbell, Anthony Rima, Hailey (Hunter) Roberts, Jaci Prigge and Thor Prigge; great grandchildren: Jackson Roberts and Baby Campbell; mother-in-law Alice Woodard of Columbus; sisters Jane (Mike) White of Hanover, KS, Julie (Doug) Churchwell of Lincoln; brother-in-law Michael Woodward of Osceola and sister-in-law Peg (Ed) O’Connell of Colorado Springs; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Marie Jarmin; and daughter Sadie Patience-Smith.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the family to be designated later.
