Jodi Anne (Sperling) Miller

Jodi Anne Sperling Miller, age 41, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away August 24, 2018 as a result of an automobile accident.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Stromsburg Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Spearow officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m at the church. Inurnment will be in the Stromsburg Cemetery.
Jodi was born September 9, 1976 to Gerald Lee and Connie Lee (Knerr) Sperling in York, Nebraska. She attended Stromsburg Public Schools, graduating in 1994. Jodi enjoyed people and worked with the public for many years. She worked at Sapp Brothers, Champion Home Builders, Annie Jeffrey Hospital, Covered Porch Cafe and returned to Champion Home Builders where she worked until her passing.
Jodi was always a happy child, waving and yelling out hi to everyone she would meet. She was a very independent person. She went bungee jumping, loved roller coasters and was honest to a fault. If she felt something needed to be said, she said it. No sugar coating. She was very spontaneous and loved to have fun with family and friends.
Jodi's pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. They spent many a day fishing, taking day trips and playing with their pets. Jodi had a quiet, steady faith. She knew prayer was her lifeline to Jesus.
Jodi leaves behind to celebrate her life, her three children Kilah Sperling and Jaydon Renquist of Stromsburg and Krysta Miller (Taylor Smith) of Utica; two grandchildren, Tye Smith and Ashlyn Sperling; her parents Jerry and Connie Sperling of Stromsburg and brothers James of York and Jeremy (Tina Back) of Stromsburg; many nieces and nephews, close friends Jamie and Jason Negley and a host of other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Cecil Sperling and Vernon and Vivian (Knerr) Wilson.
We know Jodi is with Jesus and is waiting to see each of you there.
