Jac E ‘Jaci’ Lou Johnson, age 73, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away January 28, 2025 at Bryan East in Lincoln.

A private family memorial service will be held at Dubas Funeral Home in Stromsburg at a later date.

Jaci was born April 8, 1951 in Stromsburg to Fred K. and Lucile (Johnson) Johnson. The family resided north of Stromsburg. She attended school in Stromsburg graduating in 1969. She attended college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

She began working for AC Nielsen, a rating company, in Lincoln until the company moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin. She then began her career with Peed Corporation, now known as Sandhills Publishing, in Lincoln where she worked until retiring in 2014. She enjoyed following her nieces and nephews activities.

She was a collector of wind chimes, tins and signs. She enjoyed going to antique, and thrift stores. Jaci also enjoyed spending many weekends back in Stromsburg at the family farm.

Survivors include one brother Fred Lynn Johnson of Stromsburg; two sisters Marian ‘Toodie’ Biegert of Geneva and Suzanne ‘Suzi’ Wirka of Lincoln; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers-in-law, Tom Biegert and Karl Wirka.
