Evelyn M (Martin) Green

Evelyn M. Green, age 80, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away February 18, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Osceola.

A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Evelyn was born October 6, 1941 to her father (first name unknown) and Charlotte Oleva (Boyels) Martin in Ansley, Nebraska. She attended school in Ravenna.

She was united in marriage to Harrylee Burton. To this union four children were born. They lived in Grand Island where Evelyn worked at The Armory and then at Monforts.

She was later united in marriage to Joseph H. Green. They made their home in Ansley. After his passing she moved to Loup City and then to Columbus to live with her son Stoney Burton. On August 9, 2018 she moved to the Good Samaritan Society in Osceola where she resided until her passing.

Survivors include sons Stoney Burton of Columbus and Donnie Burton of Lincoln; half brother Patrick White; grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph Green; son Mike Burton; daughter Roxann Marie Garner and brother Marvin Martin.

Memorials are suggested to the family in lieu of flowers and may be sent to PO Box 1094, Columbus, NE 68602.

Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
