Craige Hill Allison Sr., age 78, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away July 25, 2021 at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Dubas Funeral Home in Stromsburg with Pastor Leonard Suhr officiating. Special music will be "Amazing Grace" and "Tears In Heaven." Inurnment will take place in the Stromsburg Cemetery.
Craige was born October 31, 1942 in Stromsburg to Elmer and Vivian 'Ruth' (Hill) Allison. He attended school in Stromsburg graduating from Stromsburg High School in 1960. Craige was united in marriage to Jeannie McKenzie. To this union two sons were born.
Following high school he worked at York Concrete prior to being owner/operator of the Stromsburg Lanes. Craige retired in 2005. He had a love for classic cars.
Survivors include his sons Craige Jr. (Lisa) Allison of Stromsburg and Shawn Allison of York; seven grandchildren: Sarah, Lilly, Riley, Olivia, Samantha, Aidan and Zoe; brother and sister-in-laws, Dick (Janice) McKenzie, Connie (John) Groenke, Bill McKenzie, Carol McKenzie, all of York; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jack; sister-in-law Reiko; brother-in-law Gary McKenzie, daughter-in-law Bobbie.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated later.
