Craig Allen Lotspeich, age 64, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away December 6, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society in Osceola.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola with Pastor Brad Birtell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Organist will be Louise Wheeler. Pallbearers will be Steve Peterson, Randy Sedlacek, Randy Boruch, Al Imhof, Aaron Lotspeich and Adam Lotspeich. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Craig was born July 23, 1958 in Everett, Washington to William Leslie and Geraldine Darlene (Milliken) Lotspeich. The family moved to California where Craig attended school and later moved to Oakdale, Nebraska.

On July 22, 1978 he was united in marriage to Melonie Jean Bailey in Columbus, Nebraska. To this union five children were born. They lived in Columbus until the mid 1990’s when they moved to Osceola. Craig worked as a concrete construction supervisor. He worked at BD Construction and Laser Pro.

He enjoyed golfing, watching football, hanging out with friends and family at gatherings.

Survivors include his children Amy Sindelar of Columbus, Aaron (Melissa) Lotspeich of Columbus, Ashley (Josh) Bennett of Norfolk, Adam (Mackenzie) Lotspeich of Anna, TX and Alesha (Dean) Atkinson of Hickman; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers: Lee (Barb) Bowden of Folsom, CA, Gary Lotspeich of Antioch, CA, Tab (Myra) Lotspeich of Columbus, Pat (Sandi) Lotspeich of Columbus; sister Wanda (Daniel) Borowiak of Columbus; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Melonie who passed away May 22, 2020; brothers Bill, Rod and Duane; and one sister Donna Mayfield.

Memorials are suggested to the family in lieu of flowers.
