Cassie Lea Lemburg, age 43, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away July 2, 2023 at her home in Osceola.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Osceola with Pastor Soonil Park officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 4 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Dubas Funeral Home in Osceola. Musical selections will be “Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground” by Willie Nelson, “Forever Young” by Stoney LaRue and “Yellow Ledbetter”” by Pearl Jam. Pallbearers will be Bryce Reed, Jason Reed, Dustin Lemburg. Daniel Ienn, Kyle Sterup, and Brodryk Ienn. Honorary pallbearers will be Blaine Reed, David Ienn, Don Schaldecker, Herman Lemburg and Ron Colling. Interment will be in the Osceola Cemetery.

Cassie was born April 14, 1980 in Amarillo, Texas to Gary Dee and Connie Leta (Etter) Wilson. She attended elementary school in Leander and Georgetown, Texas. She graduated from West Texas High in Stinnett, Texas in 1999. She was united in marriage to Jason Reed. To this union one son, Jarrett Bryce was born. The family lived in Mississippi where Cassie attended college in Biloxi for three years. They then moved to Guymon, Oklahoma before moving to Osceola in 2003.
On March 17, 2012 she was united in marriage to Dustin Lemburg in Osceola. To this union one daughter, Ella was born. Cassie worked at various places including in the business office for Annie Jeffrey Hospital in Osceola and for Ron Colling in the District Court and also his private practice. She retired in 2017 due to her health after being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.
She was a member of the Osceola First United Methodist Church, served as secretary for Double Dogs wrestling for 7 years and was a member of Thirsty Thursday Grate night.
Her greatest joy in life was being mother to her children. That was always her main focus. She was a true blue, big haired, red lips, Texas girl who made Nebraska, the Good Life her home.
Survivors include her children, Bryce Reed and Ella Grayson Lemburg, both of Osceola; mother Connie Wilson of Duncan Lakes; brother Reid Wilson (fiance Sarah) of San Antonio, TX, sister Layne Cox of Houston, TX, nieces Scottlyn Wilson, Haleigh and Hanna Cox; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Gary Wilson.
