Allen Wayne Larson

Allen Wayne Larson, age 78, of Stromsburg, Nebraska passed away July 31, 2022 at the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Stromsburg with Pastor Keet Redden officiating. Pianist will be Roni Branting. Musical selections will be “What A Day That Will Be”, “The King is Coming”, “How Great Is Our God”, and “Wonderful Grace of Jesus.” No visitation. Pallbearers will be Jay Anderson, Clinton Anderson, Joel Anderson, Bob Eller, Nicolas Eller and Ross Eller. Interment will be in the Stromsburg Cemetery

Allen was born October 1, 1943 to Albertus John Fredrick and Dorothy Marie (Falk) Larson in Stromsburg. He attended school in Stromsburg and graduated high school in 1961. He then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

On December 4, 1965 he was united in marriage to Karen Sue Johnson at the Methodist Church in Stromsburg. To this union two children were born. Allen worked with his dad farming and as a cattle feeder. He was a Snap On Tools dealer for 30 years.

He was a member of the Evangelical Free Church in Stromsburg and the York Fun Club.

Survivors include daughter Allison Cable of Omaha; son, Mark (Blythe) Larson of Essex, IA; three grandchildren, Dalton Larson, Haley and Amanda Cable; one sister Judy (John C.) Anderson of Stromsburg; brother John (Ruth) Larson of Oakdale, MN; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Karen who passed away December 30, 2018; and his parents.

Memorials are suggested to the Midwest Covenant Home in Stromsburg.
