Thomas Willard French Jr.

Thomas Willard French, Jr., age 68, of Stromsburg, Nebraska passed away September 14, 2019 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center in Osceola, Nebraska
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Dubas Funeral Home in Stromsburg with Pastor Keet Redden officiating. Following the memorial service a lunch will be held at the Evangelical Free Church, 9th and Main, Stromsburg. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Tom was born October 13, 1950 to Thomas Willard Sr. and Virginia Lynn  (Roberts) French in Lincoln. He attended school in Lincoln, graduating from Lincoln South East in 1969. Tom then served in the United States Army from August 28, 1970 to December 26, 1970 and returned to Army Reserve to complete his service obligation through June 1st of 1976. After returning from the service he was united in marriage to Pamela Pierce. To this union one son was born. Tom began his career with LES where he worked for 40 plus years retiring as a line clearance supervisor in 2011.
On November 27, 2004 he was united in marriage to Lisa Janelle (Warner) Johnson. Shortly before his retirement they moved to Stromsburg. In retirement Tom worked part-time at Rally Auto Parts in Stromsburg.
He was a member of the Sesostris Shrine Temple, charter member of Cruisers Classics-Lincoln Chapter. Tom also served on the Stromsburg Park Board.
He enjoyed classic car restoration, bowling league, softball, the Beach Boys, and he loved his dogs.
Survivors include his wife Lisa of Stromsburg; son Anthony T. French of Lincoln; one granddaughter Karlee Rae Shearer of Lincoln and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Sr. and Virginia French.
Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
