Andrea Claire Hanson, age 43, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away July 10, 2018 at her residence in Osceola.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola, with Pastor Dan Cloeter officiating. No visitation. Musical selections will be "You Raise Me Up", "Amazing Grace". Duet will be Keith and Jane Peterson. Pianist will be Craig Swedenburg. Pallbearers will be Ron Fujan, Ben Fujan, Adam Carlson, Tim Grossnicklaus, Troy Emmons, Lorren Coffin, Doug Burritt. Honorary pallbearer will be Eric Blackburn. Interment will be in the Osceola Cemetery.
Andrea was born January 29, 1975 in Osceola to Richard Alfred Jr. and Charlene Kay (Fujan) Wyman. She attended Osceola schools graduating in 1993. She then attended Nebraska Wesleyan for one year. She was united in marriage to Dale Hanson December 3, 1994. To this union two children were born.
Andrea attended Platte College in Columbus for a short time. She worked at Heritage Bank in Stromsburg for five years then became a homemaker and was active in helping with the farming operation and doing the bookkeeping. She moved to Osceola in 2012 and helped her father on the farm and also worked with her brother during harvest.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and the Polk County Historical Society.
She loved attending her kids activities. She also loved riding horses, cooking with her grandmother, watching movies, listening to music and reading.
Survivors include daughter Avery Hanson of Stromsburg, son Thatcher Hanson of Stromsburg; parents Dick (Lori) Wyman of Osceola and Char (Lee) Grossnicklaus of Shelby; brother Jared Wyman of Osceola; sister Niki (Troy) Emmons and nephew Shane of Lincoln; grandmother Delores Fujan of Lincoln, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Fern Wyman and John Fujan.
Memorials are suggested to the family in lieu of flowers.
